Lilac Tree Gardens is run by Tom and Maddie, two passionate gardeners based in beautiful Frome. We use our horticultural knowledge to create gardens that suit your needs, whilst keeping Mother Nature in mind by encouraging a sustainable approach at every stage.

Sustainability is really important to us, and we try to minimise our environmental impact as much as possible.

What this means…

• We encourage sustainable practices in the garden (water butts, compost heaps, growing your own vegetables etc)

• We use recycled materials whenever possible (landscaping materials, organic compost and mulch)

• We only use chemical pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers when absolutely necessary

• We choose plants that will perform well in a garden’s specific conditions, with minimal input.

• We design diverse gardens that support beneficial animals and insects, and reduce the likelihood of pests and plant problems.
